Organisations and individuals often need specialist advice when faced with a nearby development proposal, or the desire to develop and create homes, offices and places to live and play. PLPlanning was established in 2006 by chartered town planner Peter Lloyd to create strategies and deliver planning advice and applications. Since then we have developed a range of public and private sectors clients and network of contacts and professional relationships to provide the best skills necessary to deliver your needs or aspirations
We don't tell you the planning process is easy - it isn't. It's very often complicated, and frequently bureaucratic. It can be time-consuming and costly to negotiate. We look to anticipate change that can affect your development beyond today and to analyse your risk. Doing so we can minimise that risk and maximise opportunity through clear planning strategy. Ultimately we aim to build consensus around your proposal.
We advise on your prospects from the outset - although sometimes we need to do work to understand them (and depending on the circumstances of your case we might even want paying for that advice sometimes!!).
Whilst we welcome challenge, we don't take on all approaches nor all cases brought to us. Not only do we know our strengths, we understand that in some cases other professional advice is needed beforehand (or even than other professionals might be better placed to assist you given your particular circumstances.)
